Trade & Invest Wales is the official Welsh Government marketing initiative for Wales. Inside their promotional activities, they edit a printed magazine which serves as a base for businesses and support local talent. For this number I got the commission from the international agency Smörgasboard to illustrate the cover and some double page spreads to act as dividers between the respective industry sections.
We got the idea of represent the international exports through the magnificent view of a cargo ship. A front view of the ship departing from the Welsh coast in the same way of the vintage line cruisers.
The interior sections were focused in the achievements of four professionals distinguished for be pionners, innovators or visionaries in their respective fields.
The Barcelona’s beer brand Estrella Damm organizes a tapas tour around some of the finest tapas bars in the city.
The agency BlocD contacted me to illustrate the ad poster announcing the Damm’s promotion; a premium tapa with every single glass bottle.
This ad is focused on the promotional key elements shown in the summertime context and framed in the Barcelona’s seafront.
The Barcelona’s Franz Schubert association organizes an annual program of concerts. Which achieves more international reputation year by year.
The venue on this cycle of concerts has the excellence of the catalan monasteries like Santa Maria de Vilabeltran.
For the 25th anniversary of the association, the design studio Mucho commissioned me 5 landscapes to transmit the character of each concert program; chamber concerts, lied recitals and instrumental solos.
The paintings traditionally have accompanied the classical music. For this project, Mucho came up with the modern view of the impressionism and romanticism. In this way, vector illustration and angular shapes aim to catch the light or the natural magnificence as stains and oil gradients did in the past.
This piece is a perception experiment in first term and an great collaboration for the Offf book in his 18th edition designed by Mucho.
Under the title ‘The visible and the invisible’ the book is a journey into the imagination and explores every act of perception as a self act of creation.
‘We believe in what we see, touch, hear, smell and taste. We believe in the world we find ourselves immersed in. A world we know is of own creation.
This book explores this fantastic organism that has faith in its own imagination. An organism able to worship the Invisible’
The experiment proposed to use the imagination and creativity to ‘erase’ or ‘redraw’ a provided image of a sloth hanging in a trunk. Only the 10% of what we see, we see with our eyes,
the other 90% is a very compelling creation of our brain. It’s thought this 10% that we correct whatever our brain is expecting to see.
It brings the opportunity t learn the new concepts that will feed our imagination, our 90%.

‘Be free from worries’ is the illustrated campaign for Seat after sales service. Comissioned and directed by the agency c14torce. These illustrations ensure Seat owners to will keep their freedom.
The illustrations represent some onirical moments where the characters experiment freedom and loneliness towards natural beauty.

OFI supports research and welfare of all orangutans and their rainforest habitat.

This poster bring the legacy of the handmade painted ads from the past century in a way of communicate product and local tradition. Based in Inca, Majorca, the are expanding to the international markets.
This big-headed character emerge from the local folklore, reimagined in some ad campaigns as a gifted senior woman who embodies the National lottery. The agency 131.gd contact me to translate this pop character, into four illustrated scenes for the xmas campaign bills.
